The impression that the Imran Khan, founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the hugely popular political party in Pakistan, is against the army institution is no doubt absolutely “foolish” as the party’s imprisoned founder said in his latest interview with international media (“Would be ‘foolish’ not to have good relations with army, says Imran Khan,” Aug.5, Gulf Today website).
Former prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has always repeatedly said that “this Pakistan is my country and the Pakistan Army is my army.” He wants to see his army as a powerful institution of Pakistan.
Pakistan is going through numerous problems which have made the life of common people miserable in the country and the solution of all ongoing serious problems in the country is a stable political situation in Pakistan.
It’s the right of the people of Pakistan to choose their leaders to run the country through free and fair elections. I believe that a sense of realisation is on the rise in Pakistan and soon political stability will emerge and the country will start its journey to the path of economically and politically stable Pakistan.
