It’s an exemplary decision taken by the Netherlands authorities to ban mobile phones in schools. Young students have a brilliant brain to excel in their abilities when they focus hundred per cent on their education. Young well-educated students are the future of their country (“Mobile phone ban in Netherlands schools comes into force,” Sept.3, Gulf Today website).
According to the report, schools in the Netherlands began a complete nationwide ban on mobile phones on Monday. Phones in secondary school classrooms have been forbidden since the beginning of the year, a measure that has now been extended to primary schools from the start of the new school year.
Secondary classes are the main phase of studies in schools in which students get knowledge of various subjects which lead them to higher education for their bright future.
The mobile phone ban in Netherlands schools will enable students to focus on their studies instead of getting distracted. It doesn’t mean students can’t use their mobile phones but only during school time.
I am sure the laudable decision taken by the Netherlands authorities to ban mobile phones in schools will get the attention of other countries also where students are allowed to use their mobile phones in classes during their school timings.
