India defeated Bangladesh in Chennai by 280 runs in the first Test match. Though Bangladesh did display good bowling and their batters also played good cricket, but lost out to India at the end of the day. India played really good and disciplined cricket, while Bangladesh need to play disciplined cricket. They need to learn from India and Australia. I must appreciate Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant, who returned to International cricket after almost 2 years, scored his 6th century on Saturday to become the fastest Indian wicket-keeper to have scored the 6th century in only 58 innings, while former Indian captain and wicket-keeper batter Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored 6 centuries in 144 innings.
That’s why Sunil Gavaskar, Saurav Ganguly and Ravi Shashtri have always praised Rishabh. The way he batted against Bangladesh in the second innings shows his class. He is a very aggressive player and that is his beauty. Perhaps that's the only reason former Indian greats have always supported him. I must say Ravichandran Ashwin once again showed his class. He is one of the most celebrated all-rounders India has. Ashwin first scored a century and saved India from embarrassment and then in the second innings he took six wickets to give India a victory. I must praise Indian captain Rohit Sharma for leading his team from the front.
