I am so happy to learn that India's prestigious institute Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has come to Abu Dhabi. This is a dream institution for Indian students. It is one of the best technical institutions India has. To get into this institute is indeed not an easy task but I am happy that now UAE students can dream of getting into it and they will work hard to get into it. IIT gives wings to fly high. IIT has a history of producing world-class students. If I look back I find Sundar Pichai, N.R.Narayana Murthy, Chetan Bhagat, Arvind Kejriwal, Riyan Agarwal and many more. I have always believed that institutions shape the personality and I always wish children should get into good institutions. I remember while growing up I had heard a lot about Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). It was a saying that people could easily recognise AMU students from their body language.
The AMU was famous not only for academics but also teaching students how to conduct good behaviour. Their language was laced with pure literature. Though I did have the opportunity to study there I visited once in 1996 and I was delighted to see what I had heard. Students were very cooperative and caring. I was very impressed to meet them. Every institution has a culture, like IIT Delhi is different from IIT Mumbai. Same is true for JNU and Hindu College.
