Humanitarian aid

The United Arab Emirates is playing a true brotherly role and making sure that the humanitarian aid must reach Lebanese brothers and sisters as they are going through their hardest time (“Donation drive for ‘UAE stands with Lebanon’ campaign will take place at Expo Centre Sharjah on Oct.19,” Oct.12, Gulf Today website).  

According to the report, Mariam Al Hammadi, Director of The Big Heart Foundation, said that the campaign’s objectives reflected the values of human solidarity that forms an integral aspect of the Emirati society in all its diversity. She underscored the principles of fraternity that the UAE, its leadership, government and people, are committed to. She pointed out that the Big Heart Foundation embraced those values and principles as building blocks in its humanitarian and charitable work.

These values and principles help in achieving stability and security in societies facing disasters and crises, she stressed.

The “UAE stands with Lebanon” is an exemplary donation drive which shows the love and care of a highly kind leadership of the United Arab Emirates and its people for their vulnerable Lebanese brothers and sisters.
