Except winning the toss, nothing seems to have gone right for Rohit Sharma and his boys @ Bengaluru. But I admire the frankness of Captain Rohit Sharma, who admitted that he did not read the pitch well.
We are glad that it was unlike Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri, who avoided the press meet, after our Adelaide debacle for 36 runs in Australia. Definitely it does hurt to see our team caving in for just 46 runs.
Still, hats off to Rohit Sharma for owning his mistake. Cricket being a funny game, anything could happen in the remaining three days. Who knows, it could be an encore of our 2001 victory at Eden Gardens against the then mighty World Champion team, Australia.
