Traffic rule violation is the main reason for chaos and unfortunate road accidents on the main road and highways which result in the loss of precious human lives (“UAE issues federal decree on traffic regulation, announces hefty fines for violations,” Oct.26, Gulf Today website).
The government has the authority to impose hefty fines on traffic violators who disobey the Roads and Transport Authority’s instructions which are implemented only in the best interest of all of us.
