The Catholic church under Pope Francis’ leadership has again denied women equity by not allowing them to contribute to church life fully. They can go to mass but not conduct the mass.
I am from the times when all priests were old Irish men but now the priests come from everywhere, that is if your parish is lucky enough to have a resident priest. I can’t see a reason why women cannot become priests.
It seems like the catholic church is still stuck in the 19th or 20th century when every catholic still went to church every Sunday but the world has moved on and they need to catch up.
