Sheikh Mohammed receives Shabab Al Ahli Football Club board members team

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has congratulated Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Football Club for winning President’s Cup & Arabian Gulf League Cup 2018/2019.

While receiving the team in Zabeel Palace, in presence of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, and Deputy Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, First Deputy Chairman of Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, and Second Deputy Chairman Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Chairman of the board of Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Company Sheikh Mansour Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed praised the efforts of the team and their results during the current year.

"I am sportsman just like you, and always seek for first place. We do our best to achieve our objectives and ambitions, and we can’t achieve our objective unless we work hard," His Highness addressed the team. He also advised the team to maintain positivity and sportsmanship in the field and in daily life, adding that sportsmen are role model for everyone.

His Highness also wished the team best of luck in future competition, especially as they are tasked to maintain the same achievement next year, or achieve better results.

The reception was attended by Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Mattar Al Tayer, Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Sami Ahmed AlQamzi, Chancellor Essam Issa AlHumaidan, Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Hisham Abdulla AlKassim, Ahmed Mohammed Bin Humaidan, and the CEO of the team Abdulkareem Alhaj.
