Fondly known as Dada, Sourav Ganguly is an Indian cricket commentator aside being a former captain of the Indian national team.
He was appointed as the 39th chief of the BCCI at a meeting in Mumbai. Sourav Ganguly was the only nominee for the post.
"It’s official - @SGanguly99 formally elected as the President of BCCI," the board posted on Twitter.
