Riding high on Muhamad Usman’s 128, Ramada Ajman thrashed Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority B in a Rashid Alleem Premier League (RPL) match held at the Al Dhaid Cricket Ground in Sharjah on Thursday.
Usman knock of 128 came off 53 balls studded with 13 sixes and five boundaries. He was well supported by Attari, who fell short of just four runs to complete the century.
Powered by Usman’s century and Attari’s 96, Ramada Ajman posted massive 252 for the loss of five wickets from the allotted 20 overs.
Later, they bowled out Sewa B for 142 runs. Adnan Khan claimed three wickets from his spell of four overs. Usman was named as man of the match.
Waqas Tariq smashed unbeaten century as Geco Blue thumped Developer B by 114 runs.
Batting first after winning the toss, Geco Blue were off to a perfect start.
Bharatt Jethhwa and Tariq shared a 115-run partnership and provided a solid platform.
Tariq remained unbeaten on 100 which came of 55 balls and Ejaz Tanveer hit 39 as Geco Blue registered 235 for the loss of five wickets.
In reply, Developer A were bundled out for 120.
Thumbay defeated Allen Electrical Services by six wickets. Avinash Kumar and Zahid Khan grabbed three wickets each as Allen Electrical Services were all out for 99.
Thumbay chased down the target in 15.3 overs. Abdullah Muhammad (35) and Fawaz PC (25) were their top scorers.
