Al Forsan International Sports Resort announced on Wednesday it will temporarily close its doors in response to government directives aiming to restrict gatherings while keeping all resort’s visitors and employee safe.
“The decision to temporarily close Al Forsan International Sports Resort comes in line with the mandates and directives of the related authorities in the United Arab Emirates, and also part of the efforts to implement all precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19). Health and safety of our visitors is a top priority for the resort, and we adopt the highest international standards of health and safety across all our facilities, arenas and activities”, the resort’s management stated.
The management indicated that a dedicated team from the resort carried out a comprehensive and thorough sterilization process of the resort, which included all facilities and equipment used in sports and recreational activities such as equestrian, archery, karting, water skiing and similar sports during this temporary closure.
The resort is keeping abreast of the ongoing developments and will make its decision to resume services in accordance with the government directives.
Al Forsan International Sports Resort is one of the largest sporting and leisure clubs in Abu Dhabi, with world-class facilities offering a wide range of activities including equestrian, archery, karting, racing, water skiing, paintball, and other individual and team sports.
