RIF Trust, part of the Latitude Group, an international leading residency and citizenship by investment advisory, sponsored ‘Cricket for Cause’; a charity event that aims to raise funds for the education of unprivileged girls in India.
Recently, the RIF Trust partnered with the Jain Seva Mission to sponsor a charity event named ‘Cricket for Cause’. Attended by philanthropists, VIPs, and cricket fans alike, the event successfully raised Dhs45,000 to be donated to three charitable organisations, including Shree Raj Saubhag, Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care (SRLC), and the Jain Seva Mission. These generous donations will go to support the education of unprivileged girls in several countryside villages throughout India.
Four teams competed in a friendly cricket competition embracing the true spirit of teamwork playing the most popular sport in the Indian Subcontinent. The winning team was awarded the ‘RIF Cup’ by Alaa Akwan, Citizenship and Residency Director at RIF Trust, while the others received certificates of appreciation during a heart-felt closing ceremony.
The matches were held in Al Quoz, Dubai. Commenting on this event’s success, Mimoun A. Assraoui, Chief Executive Officer at RIF Trust, said, “we are proud of our partnership with the Jain Seva Mission, which organised this amazing charitable event. It is heart-breaking that 13.5% of all Indian girls do not have access to education. We at RIF Trust have dedicated ourselves to empower people, especially the most vulnerable members of our society, with new beginnings and we are proud to support a range of humanitarian causes, like Cricket For Cause, as part of our corporate social responsibility commitment.”
With its headquarters based in Dubai, RIF Trust employs over 80 industry professionals globally that provide clients with citizenship or residency by investment solutions in the Caribbean, Europe, and North America while offering competitively priced services and local expertise with a global reach.
