Skov triumphs at JA End of Season Classic

Trine Skov (22) shot an impressive 56 Stableford points to win the JA End of Season Classic at JA Resort.

The 27 hole event over two days in the coolest weather of the season to date, saw Skov lead the field by 6 points after the first 18 holes.

A front nine of 24 points, the equivalent of a gross 40, over the par 70 Red Tee course playing at 4788 yards, set up the tournament win for Skov.

The second and third places were secured by Gurbax Singh (18) with 53 points with Satnam Kaur (30) a further 3 back.

The top three players after round one held their places with no changes in the last nine holes of the event.

Thanks were given at the prize presentation by JA Resort Director of Golf, Stuart McMurdo to ProSports International and Mediclinic for their support of this third event of the 2020 summer series along with the EGF sanctioning body.

McMurdo announced that a number of JA golf events with multiple rounds at JA Resort will be announced shortly, with entries for all EGF members, and continue throughout this forthcoming UAE golfing season.
