Sharjah Cricket Academy (SCA) defeated Desert Cubs by two wickets in the U-19 category of the Ramada Gulf Cup at the Ajman Oval Ground.
Captain Yuvraj Barua smashed a 117-ball 92 as SCA overhauled the target of 244 for the loss of eight wickets with 12 balls to spare.
Batting first, Cubs posted a huge total of 243 in 48.2 overs. Saneen Latheef hit 75 of 106 balls to propel them to a fighting total.

Yuvraj also claimed 4 for 40 while Usaid Hafeez returned with a figure of 2 for 47 to skittle Cubs. While chasing, at one stage SCA looked set for a defeat as they had lost eight wickets with just 137 runs on the board.
But Yuvraj knuckled down not only to anchor the faltering innings but put up a century partnership to take SCA to a victory. His innings was studded with eight fours.
He was well supported by Aryansh Sharma (47) and Ameer Hamza (42).
Gulf Cup is one of most prestigious domestic tourneys. A total of 70 teams are taking part in the tournament, which is being played across five different age categories.
