Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club will host the biggest event of their calendar – CSI2* HH Sharjah Ruler Cup International Show Jumping Championship on Friday, sponsored by Longines.
Some of the leading show jumpers from around the world, including the highest ranked from the UAE and Arab region will take part in the prestigious competition.
The event is being under the patronage of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and enjoys the patronage of Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qassimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
Over 180 riders from Bahrain, Belarus, Bolivia, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, UK, Poland, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Norway, Palestine, Russia and Syria will join the large number of the UAE’s leading show jumpers at the event.
The H.H. Sharjah Ruler Cup takes place in cooperation with the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation (UAEERF) and under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI).
Sultan Mohammad Khalifa Al Yahyae, General Manager of Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club said: We are excited about this year’s event. We also hope to have some good results for our UAE riders.” The two-day championship is sponsored by Longines, Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Al Shira’aa Stables, Sharjah Islamic Bank, Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sharjah Sports, Sharjah Equine Hospital, Cavalor and Al Sakb Equestrian.
