Top nationals from across the country will be competing on March 12-13 for the 9th edition of the UAE Presidents Cup sponsored by HSBC.
Hosted by the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) the 2021 ‘national championship’ will be played at Abu Dhabi Golf Club. Expecting to reach over 100 golfers across four different divisions, this year’s championship will be a showcase for the top national golfers.
EGF is thrilled to work alongside HSBC for the ninth year. HSBC is a globally recognized organisation in banking with an event management sector that has a purpose to be where the growth is. HSBC is certainly on the right track with impressive golf events like the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and worldwide influence on junior golf programs.
Abdulfattah Sharaf, chief executive officer for the UAE of HSBC Bank Middle East and EGF Board said: “At all levels of the sport, golf is a fantastic way for people to come together and achieve great things, which is why HSBC is so proud to be involved in the UAE Presidents Cup once again. Our goal is to help create a platform for golf to thrive in the UAE, particularly for the youngest members of society.” Given the current world pandemic the EGF and Abu Dhabi Golf Club has put in safety precautions in order for the players to compete in a safe and healthy environment.
