Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club welcomed over 80 show jumpers from the UAE in the recently concluded Al Habtoor Showjumping competition 2021.
Riders competed in five classes with jumps from 70 up to 125 cm. The event showcased speed, precision, and determination wherein riders demonstrated their skills in sync with their prized horses.
Habtoor Mohammed Al Habtoor said, “It is a real pleasure to see the enthusiasm that we receive from the equestrian community towards the several events the Club hosts each season. Having over 160 entries in this competition demonstrates the confidence in the level of equestrian events that the team can deliver. I can only see this going bigger with the club taking part in more national or even international showjumping competitions in the future.”
One of the crowd favourites, Tina Lund, successfully placed first in Classes 4 and 5 said, “It’s a very nice show your team has organized. It's very obvious that your team has given your best. I took my good horses with me because I really wanted to win and I hope the Club will host more competitions like this again.”
Khalil Ibrahim, President - Ground Jury from the Emirates Equestrian Federation commended the club and said, "The Club has the facilities that are good for the riders and horses in this kind of competition. The arena grounds are as per standards and the stables are beautiful. We look forward to seeing more shows here in the upcoming equestrian season."
