Chieftains CC defeated All Stars CC by 25 runs in the final to win the third edition of the TCL Championship.
Chieftains CC won the toss and elected to bat first. They posted a challenging 206 for the loss of six wickets.
In reply, All Stars CC were all out for 183. Except Saeed Ahmad (53) and Shahzad Farooq (33), none of their batsmen reached double figures.
Skipper Zafar Raja played a key role in Chieftains’ victory as he claimed three wickets in an over to turn the tide in the team's favour.
Tariq Butt, UAE’s most experienced cricket umpire, curator and tournament organiser, gave away the prizes.
