Ajman have appointed Serbian Goran Tufegdzic as their head coach to lead the team into the next season. The management and fans of Ajman wished the new manager great success in future.
Earlier, the Orange Castle held a ceremony honouring the outgoing coach Ayman Al Ramadi in appreciation for his efforts with the team. He spent five seasons with the club with loyalty and hard work.
For his part, Ramadi praised the management and players of Ajman and the relationship that brought them together. He also thanked the management’s unlimited cooperation and support in the most difficult circumstances. He added that he was fully confident that the club would achieve the best in the coming seasons.
Meanwhile, the UAE Pro League match officials continue to shine and make their mark at regional, continental, and international levels, which is a testament to the success of the UAEPL’s match officials qualification program that has focused on developing Emirati talents since 2012.
The achievements are highlighted by Hamad Al Mazrouei’s current involvement in the AFC Cup, where he serves as a Match Commissioner for games held in Jordan between May 21 and 27. He has also been appointed as a Match Commissioner for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Asian Cup joint qualifiers in Bahrain between May 30 and June 17.
Mazrouei, the first Emirati match official to take part in the AFC competitions, took up varied roles over the past few years. He managed the Dubai zone in the 2019 Asian Cup and took part in organising the 2020 AFC U23 Championship in Bangkok.
He was also the Safety and Security Officer for the AFC Champions League Group C games held in Jeddah between April 27 and May 19, 2021.
Meanwhile, Fahad Al Hosani will participate in the second round of the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Asian Cup joint qualifiers as a Safety and Security Officer for Group D matches between June 3 and 15 in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh. Hosani’s distinguished career saw him serve as a Local General Coordinator in the AFC Champions League, a Match Commissioner in the Arab Club Championship, and a Safety and Security Officer in the AFC Cup.
In addition, Dr Mohamed Saeed Al Hattawi was appointed as a Match Commissioner in the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup qualifiers held in Khorfakkan between May 20 and 25.
He has also been named a Match Commissioner for Group H matches in the second round of the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Asian Cup joint qualifiers held in Seoul between June 3 and 15.
