Race halted after Verstappen crashes out

The British Grand Prix was suspended for the time being after the championship leader Max Verstappenn escaped a deadly crash on Sunday.

Verstappen got away unscathed but was taken to hospital after the crash for the further tests to rule out anything ominus.

Verstappen’s Red Bull crashed into the barriers after he tried to avoid an accident with the Mercedes Lewis Hamilton, who was attacking him from the beginning of the race in front of capacity crowd to flocked the circuit to root for their hero.

Verstappen has been in a stellar form this season has taken a vital lead with four victories so far. While Hamilton has been left to play catch-up game.

The season culminated in Abu Dhabi with the last race of the calendar taking place in state of the art Yas Marina circuit.
