Women got the ball rolling at the Tokyo Olympics with softball event while Brisbane was named as the host city for the 2032 Games on Wednesday.
Brisbane will become the third Australian city to host the Olympics after Melbourne and Sydney following a successful bid that won the vote unanimously.
