England bowlers Wood and Moeen rock India to leave Test evenly poised

A late assault by England bowlers Mark Wood and Moeen Ali left India reeling 181-6 in their second innings at Lord’s Test on Sunday.
India are leading by 154 runs with four wickets in hands after the bad light forced early closure of play on the fourth day of the match.
India got off to a shaky start in the second innings as they lost two early wickets, with both the openers back in the pavilion with just 27 runs on the board.
Wood got rid of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul before Sam Curran dismissed Indian captain Virat Kohli to make it 55-3.
Pujara (45) and Rahane (61) shared a 112-run partnership to revive the innings and take the score to 167-2.
Both Rahane and Pujara kept England bowlers at bay for almost two sessions, adding 100 runs in 59 overs at snail’s pace.
Wood again struck toward the end of the day to get rid of Pujara as Ali also joined the party. Wood had Pujara caught by Root while Ali dismissed Rahane and
Ravindra Jadeja in quick successions to leave India in tatters.
Ali rattled the stumps of Jadeja and had Rahane caught by Buttler as India were reduced to 175/6 from 167-3 with in a span of six overs.
