Edward Modrovic-owned Saahar clinched the UAE President's Cup World Series for Purebred Arabian Horses crown in Russia.
Amidst participation of well-known Russian owners, sizeable public attendance and extensive media attention, the series continues to rise in Europe.
Nine purebred Arabian horses participated in the €50,000 race, which was the part of first category of races.
General Supervisor of the series, Faisal Al Rahmani crowned the winners of the showpiece event. Saeed Al Muhairi, Representative of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), and the representative of
Russia’s Higher Horse Race Committee along with Mohammed Rashid Al Mansouri, Head of the Political Affairs Section at the UAE Embassy in Russia, also witnessed the race.
After noticing the significant media attention at the event, Rahmani said that the race’s organisation was successful and impressive.
He also hailed the hard work of the Higher Horse Race Committee and Russian horse owners and breeders of the Purebred Arabian Horse.
The event was held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, supported by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu
Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and monitored by Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, in line with the vision and legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan to promote purebred Arabian horses globally.
