Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, who is likely to move to Manchester City before the transfer window closes next Tuesday, did not participate in the training of his current team, Juventus, on Friday, according to Italian media.
The media indicated that Ronaldo went to the headquarters of the old club for a short visit, but he left at about eleven o'clock local time when his team started a training session in preparation for facing Empoli on Saturday in the Italian League, according to what was announced by the "Sky Sport" network.
Ronaldo joined Juventus in 2018 from Real Madrid and is still under contract with his Italian club until June 30, 2022.
Juventus agreed to Ronaldo's departure after a meeting with the latter's business manager and compatriot Jorge Mendes in Turin, but on condition that he receive compensation for the transfer, which local newspapers estimated at a value of between 25 and 30 million euros.
