Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez made a drama during his team Aston Villa's match with Manchester United in the English Premier League. In the 90th minute, United was awarded a penalty kick.
Here Martinez surprised everyone when he insisted on Cristiano Ronaldo, not his compatriot Bruno Fernandes to take the kick.
Fernandes, the "specialist," took the kick, as usual, but the ball went over the goal and reached the stands, which made the former English football star and TV analyst comment sarcastically, "Bruno's ball has not returned to the Earth's atmosphere yet."
Cheering Martinez created a drama and mocked fans when he danced in front of the home crowd after penalty.
United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær said that the behaviour of the Aston Villa goalkeeper did not affect Bruno's focus, and stressed, "He is mentally strong and will take other penalties."
Regarding the decision of who takes the penalty kicks, especially since everyone thought Ronaldo was the first shooter, Solskjaer said, “The decision that Bruno would take penalty was taken before the start of the match."
