Stage is set for another blockbuster event at Etihad Arena of Yas Island in Abu Dhabi as all the four combatants taking part in the UFC 267 made weight on Friday morning.
UFC 267 is headlined by two highly anticipated world championship bouts. Light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz goes for his second successful title defense when he takes on No. 1 ranked contender Glover Teixeira.
In the co-main event, Petr Yan will challenge Cory Sandhagen for the interim bantamweight title.
Another highly anticipated lightweight match-up between Islam Makhachev and Dan Hooker is teed up nicely, with the former clocking 155.5lbs on the scales and the latter a half pound heavier.
First to hit the scale during the weigh-in was Blachowicz, coming in on the money at 205lbs.
His opponent, Glover Teixeira, took a little more time to appear, but came to the stage at the same weight.
Blachowicz drew laughs from the crowd when he promised main event opponent Teixeira a belated birthday present on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, UFC President Dana White told the region's MMA fans that they should prepare for "major, massive things" in Abu Dhabi.
That was the message from UFC President to an excited, expectant crowd at the UFC 267 press conference at Etihad Arena.
With a host of fighters from Saturday’s main card behind him on the stage at the Arena, White told the fans: "We have major massive plans for Abu Dhabi. Wait and see.
"Abu Dhabi has been instrumental in what we have done in the past 10 years and is going to get even more instrumental. Just look at this card. We've got the toughest guys from all over the world here. It doesn't get cooler than that.
