World football legend Lionel Messi visited the Dubai Expo 2020 on Monday, prompting a rush of visitors to the site.
The football star toured various sites and visited the UAE pavilion.
The Argentinian legend met Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Commissioner General of Expo 2020 Dubai, and Noura Bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Youth at Expo.
The Expo will continue until next March 2022.
It is noteworthy that Messi, currently playing for French club Paris Saint-Germain, is the international ambassador for the Expo 2020.
Social media activists shared videos and photos of the Argentine star during his tour of Expo 2020, especially the moment he stood next to the waterfalls located between Al Wasl Square and Jubilee Park.
The waterfall combines the elements of water, earth and fire in a way that surprises and delights the senses at the same time.
