Fakhar excels as Qalandars down Zalmi, move to second spot

Lahore Qalandars defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 29 runs in their PSL match on Wednesday. Riding on a blitzkrieg fifty by Fakhar Zaman, Qalandars posted fighting total of 199/4 in their allotted 20 overs.
He was well supported by Mohammad Hafeez, who blasted a 19-ball 37 and Abdullah Shafique, scoring 41. After posting a fighting total, Qalandars restricted Zalmi to 170/9. Meanwhile, former England captain Micheal Vaughn still remains a fan-favourite long after his retirement from international cricket.

Islamabad with a win and loss each from two fixtures played thus far are behind at second with two points in their kitty.
