Najla Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chess & Culture Club for Sharjah Women, praised the successful organisation of the training camp, which comes within the club’s endeavour to raise the standard of the players and their technical level through intensive training under the supervision of the best chess players in the world.
‘The club management is working to provide all necessary training and facilities which help them to achieve success. Through the development of an integrated programme, which includes a group of different camps, that contributes to placing the players in a specific atmosphere where they can focus fully on the game. It also creates an atmosphere of familiarity between them, which is in the interest of the teams and players’,” she added.
"‘This group of players was chosen to attend the camp because of their talent, passion, and determination during the previous training periods.”
