Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, met with club manager Pep Guardiola on Saturday.
Sheikh Mansour also met the chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak.
Guardiola met the City owner after the club clinched their fourth English Premier League title in five years after a thrilling finish on the last day of the tournament.
City came from behind to defeat Aston Villa 3-2 to take the honours.
After a thrilling season full of twists and turns and great drama, they won the title by one point over Liverpool.
Sheikh Mansour posted the images of the meeting between him and Guardiola on his Twitter account on Sunday, mentioning that "the meeting came in the wake of the club's recent victory in the English Premier League and to discuss plans for the next season 2022/2023".
