The sports day activities also included a sports information competition on the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation's history and its participation in major events involvement, as well as the achievements and successes along its trip at all levels, in order to raise awareness among all employees working for the foundation.
Fatima Ahmed Saleh, Head of the Media and Public Relations Department at the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation, stressed the importance of organizing such events which are aimed at making employees happy and boosting their morale by balancing the atmosphere of work and sports activities.
Fatima pointed out that holding such events is in line with the foundation's strategy laid down by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation, which includes establishing sports culture and community awareness, promoting women's sports, and creating a stimulating sports environment that contributes to the development of women's sports.
"The Sports Day activities covered a wide range of topics, including hosting various competitions that saw a lot of enthusiasm and a strong presence from all employees, as well as providing recommendations and health and nutritional guidelines, which is one of the complementary aspects of practicing sports and is closely related to getting the most out of it," Fatima added.
