Fifa President Gianni Infantino surprised the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with a "unique" football with his name written on it.
Infantino presented the official 2022 World Cup ball to the Turkish president.
Erdogan headed the ball shortly after the presentation and said he would travel to Qatar for games.
Being an ex-professional footballer in his youth, the Turkish leader is known to be fond of football, and also follows it regularly.
Erdogan is also believed to have said that he will play football with the Emir of Qatar.
The Turkish president held a closed-door meeting with the FIFA President in New York at the Turkevi Center near UN headquarters.
The Turkish president met multiple world leaders on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.
