The injured Saudi player, Yasser Al-Shahrani reassured his fans about his health condition, after the serious injury he suffered during the Kingdom’s match against Argentina in the World Cup Qatar 2022.
Al Shahrani sent a message in which he reassured his fans of his health after the severe head injury he suffered during his country's historic victory over Argentina 2-1 on Tuesday.
Al-Shahrani published a video clip broadcast on the Saudi national team’s page on Twitter, said: “I wanted to assure you that my health is good, your prayers are for me, and the fans of the Saudi national team deserve to win.”
The official account of the Saudi national team revealed that Yasser Al-Shahrani was transferred to Hamad Medical City as a result of a head injury. His condition was stable, all praise be to God.
All necessary medical examinations have been conducted and he will be under observation during the coming hours.
The Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman ordered Yasser Al-Shahrani to be treated immediately in Germany.
Local media reported that Al-Shahrani would be flown to Riyadh for treatment.
It is worth noting that Al-Shahrani collided with his colleague, goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais, in one of the joint balls during stoppage time in the second half of the match.
The Saudi national team had blown a resounding surprise, by winning 2-1 over Argentina, led by star Lionel Messi, at the start of the two teams’ matches in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
