A Jordanian dentist based in Dubai has brought back smile on the face of bullied Moroccan fan has won the hearts of millions of social media users.
The Moroccan fan, who was in Doha for the Morocco-Croatia match in the World Cup, was bullied after the game.
It was during the match the camera caught the fan’s smile, which showed his teeth not in good shape.
The man’s image was circulated on social media with insulting comments and memes.
His peers and fellow countrymen bullied him.
It was during this moment, a Dubai-based Jordanian dentist Shadi Al-Sheikh asked his Instagram followers to locate the man.
To the surprise of Shadi, his followers located him in no time and got details. The Moroccan fan was identified as Mohamed Al Sharafi.
Shadi spoke to Sharafi and told him that he would bear the cost of his travel from Doha to Dubai as well as the cost of the treatment of his teeth, according to Moroccan media.
Sharafi told media that negligent people subjected him to harsh treatment.
He said I have a heart problem, which prevented me from treating my teeth. A doctor from Dubai phoned me and said he would bear the cost of travel and treatment. Alhamdulliah for everything.
Shadi shared videos of the Moroccan fan, thanking him and commenting on it, "This is an honour for me...”
The dentist’s initiative received praises from all segments of the society.
