A Twitter user with the name José Miguel Polanco predicted 7 years ago that Argentina will win the World Cup title and star Lionel Messi would lift the trophy.
José Miguel wrote on Twitter, “December 18, 2022. 34 year old Leo Messi will win the World Cup and become the greatest player of all times. Check back with me in 7 years...”
Everything was correct in the tweet, except that Messi is 35 years old, and the tweeter may have made a mistake at the time about Messi's age, but that does not impede the strength of his expectations.
Followers interacted with the tweet, and among the comments: “The best player in history did it and settled the controversy” and “The best part of this tweet is the error in Messi’s life, the only thing that is impossible for anyone to make a mistake about,” and “This is a really strange person, how did he know about this?” ?”
José Miguel wrote after the world cup, “It was given. I followed you to all parts of the world and at last we were able to taste eternal glory. You are not a love that hurts me, you are the love of my life. I am the happiest guy in the world, as well as the 45 million Argentines who have dreamed of this since we have reason ??”
Manuel Mohamed said, “Dude that’s amazing I just sat next to you when Morocco played against Belgium and we took couple of photos together, what a small world, vamos Argentina.”
A user, Hunter, questioned his age and authenticity, “You don’t look old enough to have attended 6 world cups.”
José Miguel responded with proof of photos from six world cups with family.
Hunter said, “Well that shut me up man good job. and I have Argentina to win this too so good luck.”
In Buenos Aires, thousands of ecstatic fans gave Argentina's football squad a hero's welcome in the early hours before dawn on Tuesday after the plane carrying Lionel Messi and his World Cup-winning team mates touched down at Ezeiza airport.
The Argentine capital has been in party mode since their dramatic victory over France in Sunday's final in Qatar, which gave the country its first World Cup win since Diego Maradona hoisted the trophy 36 years ago.
