The Sharjah Women's Sports Club volleyball team stormed into the final of the Women's General League with a thumping 3-0 (25-12, 25-7, 25-11) victory over Fahood Zabeel in the semi-final match played in Ajman.
The Women's General League championship is being organized by the UAE Volleyball Federation.
Alia Nasser, Nadwa Wassim, Mona Abbas, Fatima Khamis, Kawthar Qabbabi, Latifa Al Kaabi, Rawa Makki, Aisha Abdullah, Amina Malallah, Natalia Maria, Karina Bychuk, Riyam Hameed, Merli Maria, and Mashael Salem were part of Sharjah Women’s Sports Club’s volleyball team.
Fatima Al Alayli, Head of the Team Games Department at the Sharjah Women’s Sports Club, praised the Sharjah Women's Sports Club team's performance in the General League Championship.
She lauded the efforts of the technical, administrative, and medical staff and emphasized that the team's qualification reflects the quality of the training camps they attended to sharpen their skills ahead of the tournament.
Fatima pointed out that the club's team making the volleyball league final indicates Sharjah Women’s Sports’ positive approach and perfect strategy, which strive to progress the club's teams to advanced stages in competing for titles in local and international championships.
