Gearing up to make the event memorable, the Board of Trustees of the Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi Award for Sports Excellence held another meeting to review the ongoing preparations.
During the meeting, they discussed ways, assigned responsibilities, and approved the arrangements to host a press conference to announce the details of the award criteria.
They also discussed the steps to launch the award's website, which include the award’s details and the procedure for registration in different categories.
The press conference to announce the details will take place on June 7.
The monthly meeting was held at the Sharjah Sports Council headquarters and was chaired by Eisa Hilal Al Hazami in the presence of the members.
The chairman of Sharjah Sports Council stated that preparations are underway and committees are working on finalising the details, which will be revealed during the press conference.
"We are pleased with the achievements made so far in terms of teams and committees' tasks and responsibilities," said Najla Al Shamsi, the Award's Secretary General. To accomplish the desired objectives, we will launch marketing activities as the award announcement date approaches and attract people to be nominated for various categories."
It is worth mentioning that the Board of Trustees of the Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi Award has been actively working since the first meeting at which the positions were distributed.
In the most recent period, the award criteria were approved, and the members started carrying out their duties, including Hanan Mohammed Al Mahmoud as Supervisor of the Communications & Marketing committee, Dr. Abdullah Abdulrahman Bin Sultan as Supervisor of the Jury & Evaluation Committee and Mohammed Ali Al Hammadi, Supervisor of Events and Public Relations Committee, Khawla Jassim Al Serkal, Supervisor of Media Committee, Wafaa Abdullah, Supervisor of Technical Standards Committee, and Bakheet Saeed Al Qurs, Rapporteur of the Board of Trustees.
