Expectations are that Frenchman Karim Benzema, the star of Real Madrid, will be a player in the Saudi Football League for the next season, after the player held a meeting on Wednesday with Florentino Perez, president of the Real Club.
According to Spanish newspapers, Ballon d'Or winner Benzema is inclined to accept the Saudi offer to play in the league.
He is being offered €100 million annually to play in Jeddah’s Al Jawharah Stadium, so-called “Radiant Jewel.”
Media reports that Benzema has been offered a two-year contract to move to an un-named team in the Saudi Pro League.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Al-Ittihad club is waiting for Benzema's response, as soon as possible.
