The organising committee of the Dibba Classic Sports Challenge championship has completed preliminary arrangements for organizing the body building championship, which will be held this year from Aug.4-6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The Organising Committee, headed by Salem Al Suraidi, was keen to include a group of important activities for both sexes in the fifth edition of the event, within the framework of the developments that the Organizing Committee was keen to add to accommodate the largest number of stars and champions.
Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Mutaiwee, head of the technical committee in the championship, revealed that this version was not satisfied with body-building competitions only, as it was in the past, but also added physical fitness competitions, arm wrestling and other activities.
He stated that the Organizing Committee, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council and the Emirates Federation for Body Building and Physical Strength, is betting on making this year's championship an exceptional event full of challenge and excitement, not only at the state level, but also at the regional level.
Mutaiwee mentioned that the championship was able, during the previous four editions, to confirm its position as the most important sporting event at the local level in bodybuilding.
He added: The event has now become a major station, eagerly awaited by the most important champions in the Middle East.
He stated: The organizing committee, which includes, next to the president, Yasser Al-Sayyid Suleiman Al Qatali, the tournament director, and Ziyad Khan Sakheb, head of the Public Relations Committee, relies on a group of national cadres and experienced people, aiming to make the event the best sporting event in the field of fitness and fitness this year.
