On the occasion of the Emirati Women’s Day, launched by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, the Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of Family Development Foundation & President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood and “Mother the Nation”, Dubai Sports Council (DSC) has announced the organisation of Mashreq Women’s Padel Championship, allocated for Emirati female players (C Open Category).
The Championship will take place on Aug.26 and 27, 2023 at the courts of Dubai Sports World with participation of 16 teams of multi-nationalities & different ages, and under the sponsorship of Mashreq. The door of registration remains open up to Aug.24 through the Championship’s website: https://emiratipadel.com.
The Championship’s sponsor has allocated money prize of Dhs20 thousand for winners. In this regard, the 1st placed team will gain Dhs10 thousand, while the second placed team will be awarded Dhs6 thousand and the third placed will get Dhs4 thousand. Valuable prizes will also be presented by Honor Mobile Phones Co.
Saeed Hareb, the Secretary General of DSC, confirmed that the Council is keen to celebrate the Emirati Women’s Day, coinciding Aug.28. every year, through organization of various sports events coping with the Emirati woman’s anticipations regarding exercise of sports activities & skill development. The Championship encourages Emirati women to exercise favorite sports and enjoy healthy, vital & happy life.
Hareb stated: “DSC organises every year tens of local & international sports events for women. We are pleased this year to add an eminent event to this rich agenda; i.e. Mashreq Women’s Padel Championship, which is organised on the occasion of the Emirati Women’s Day.
