Boxers from across around the world, both men and women, will compete in the EMD Fight Night International Boxing Championship taking place at The Agenda Hall in Dubai Media City on Sunday.

The EMD Fight Night will feature a number of international professional boxing champions. This tournament marks the seventh edition of the EMD Fight Night series, where fighters from various countries will compete for titles in the ring. Anticipated bouts promise excitement, making this event a must-watch.
With the growing interest in boxing in the Middle East, the Professional Boxing Championship series reflects the increasing desire to develop the sports scene in the region, thanks to meticulous organization by the organizing committee and unwavering support from the Dubai Sports Council.
Eisa Al Dah was the first to bring professional boxing championships to the UAE since 2007, starting as a professional Emirati boxer.
He has since focused on nurturing talented champions, enabling them to embark on international boxing careers. Eisa Al Dah continues to organize tournaments, which have seen rapid success in the past three years.
The Emirati boxer said: "Organizing these championships stems from my passion for professional boxing and belief in our champions' ability to reach the world stage.
“We've learned from our leadership that nothing is impossible, so I draw strength from this belief to achieve my dreams and the dreams of boxing champions, especially Emirati and Arab champions."
He also praised the Dubai Sports Council for its support from his early days as a professional boxer to organizing championships to date.
As attention turns to Dubai as a global hub for boxing and to witness elite professional boxers, this event showcases the city's sporting prowess and exceptional support provided by the Dubai Sports Council to sports enthusiasts in all its forms.
Another Emirati boxer Majid Al Naqbi is set to participate in the event, the seventh edition of the Challenge of Champions Boxing Championship.
Al Naqbi will face Algerian boxer Nadji Meziadi in the middleweight division, following his remarkable performance in the previous edition last February, where he secured victory with a technical knockout, becoming the champion of the first round. His total wins in previous tournaments now stand at nine, with only two losses.
Al Naqbi stated, "The Professional Boxing Championship series organized by Eisa Al Dah has greatly contributed to my return to boxing tournaments and called on boxing fans to support the championships through participation or attendance."
Al Naqbi made his debut at the age of 22 in 2019, becoming the second professional fighter in the country.
The organizing committee for the boxing championship held a press conference on Friday unveiling details of the event.
