The Higher Organising Committee of the UAE President Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses has announced the schedule for the 31 edition of the prestigious competition, promising an exciting line-up of events across the globe.
This year's races will see a significant number of events hosted at the most important and best global horse festivals.
Supported and guided by His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the prestigious cup aims to elevate the status of Arabian horses, preserve their authentic heritage, while advancing their global recognition and care.
This initiative continues the vision of the late founder Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The race schedule spans continents, with Europe hosting nine rounds, starting with the illustrious cup races at France's renowned Longchamp racecourse on May 12, forming part of the Emirates French Guineas for Colts 2000 and Fillies 1000.
Additionally, five rounds will take place across Arab tracks, including stops in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, and Saudi Arabia, with the final race slated for December 11, 2024. A single round in the United States expands the cup's global footprint.
South America continues to witness the series' growth, with races scheduled in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile. This initiative aims to bolster the region's horse industry by supporting local owners and breeders. It also aims to enhance production levels and promote the Arabian horse industry.
Matar Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri, President of the Higher Organising Committee, expressed gratitude for the continuous support from the wise leadership, which has facilitated the expansion of the event to 15 countries worldwide.
“Each year, the Cup reflects significant progress and elevates the global stature of Arabian horse racing,” he said.
