The UAE bodybuilding national team departed for Mongolia on Tuesday to participate in the IFBB Asian Bodybuilding Championship, which will be held from July 4-8.
The event is organised by the Asian Federation under the supervision of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness.
The UAE delegation is headed by Ahmed Johar, a member of the federation's board of directors, with the national team's technical director Zuwaid Salmeen Al-Zaabi, coach Salman Ajil, Almas Al Balushi, international refree Abdullah Al-Taweel, the team doctor Dr Saeed Sasani, and 13 players.

The national team's technical director, Zaabi, confirmed that the players have prepared physically in an outstanding manner, which will contribute to a successful participation. He noted that the championship is strong due to the participation of elite Asian and world champions.
Despite this, the team is ready and hopeful of achieving the best results. He expressed gratitude to the federation's board of directors, chaired by Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, for their efforts in achieving the team's good physical readiness.
He emphasised that the goal of participation is to continue achieving distinguished international results and to consistently win high-level international medals, in line with the prestigious status of Emirati bodybuilding at the continental level.
