Professor Mauricio De Arruda, President of the Brazilian Federation of Fitness and Bodybuilding and the director of the IFBB Education & Research Commission has praised the pivotal role played by the IFBB Fitness and Sports Academy in the Arabian Gulf, headquartered in Dubai.
He highlighted the academy's contributions to developing a fitness and bodybuilding culture according to updated technical and physical standards, which have significantly transformed sports practice.
During his recent meeting in Dubai with Colonel (Ret.) Abdul Karim Mohamed Saeed, Chairman of IFBB Fitness and Sports Academy Dubai, Prof. De Arruda extended further support and appreciation for the academy's headquarters in Dubai.
This recognition acknowledges the academy's significant role in supporting the careers of fitness and bodybuilding trainers and judges across the Arabian Gulf.
The meeting also included discussions on important reports documenting the academy's success in training fitness and bodybuilding coaches from different countries.
The meeting coincided with the organization of the IFBB Fitness and Sports Academy Dubai’s
Level 5 course, held in Dubai over two days, which saw wide participation from sports trainers from different countries.
The course lectures were delivered by Prof. De Arruda, along with Engineer Walid Abdul Karim Muhammad Saeed, general manager of the IFBB Fitness and Sports Academy in Dubai.
Colonel (Ret.) Abdulkarim expressed that the commendation and support from the President of the Brazilian Federation enhanced the enthusiasm and confidence of the academy's staff, motivating them to continue their successful journey.
He noted that Prof. De Arruda recommended expanding the academy's reach across all Middle Eastern countries to cultivate a generation of outstanding trainers who will elevate the standards in line with the aspirations of regional champions.
He emphasized the importance of bringing in international expertise to improve the scientific and professional levels of the trainers, which in turn helps to advance training methods, especially with the increasing demand for participation in the academy's courses.
