The second edition of Binous Classic, a prestigious bodybuilding extravaganza, kicked off following weigh-ins at the Sofitel Hotel, Wafi Mall, in Dubai on Friday.
Held in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council and the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (EBFF), this event beckons the world’s elite athletes to showcase their sculpted physiques and unwavering determination

Binous Classic offers a staggering Dh1.2 million in cash prizes, a testament to its global prominence.
The event includes arm wrestling, bodybuilding, men’s physique, cross-fit, MMA and fitness challenges in addition to boxing and kickboxing competitions.
Anis Binous, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, revealed that they have received participation requests from outstanding international athletes across various competitions from all over the world.
“This makes it the premier championship in terms of the quality of participating athletes.”
Binous disclosed that the competition has attracted around 800 male and female athletes from various countries.
The competitions will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
He confirmed that all preparations have been completed for the competition across all sporting events and the accompanying Expo exhibition.
He affirmed the complete readiness for the launch of the competitions in all sports activities and the accompanying expo, thanks to the teamwork spirit and joint efforts.
He expressed gratitude for the support and follow-up of the Dubai Sports Council and the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, chaired by Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi.
The committee chairman mentioned that a cash prize of Dhs110,000 has been allocated for the winner of the Championship.
Dhs35,000 for the runner-up in the physique category, and Dhs25,000 for each of the champions in the Classic Bodybuilding and Classic Physique categories.
Regarding the number of competitive categories, he mentioned that there are 20 competitive categories for men and six for women in bodybuilding, accompanied by fitness competitions, arm wrestling, boxing, and Muay Thai.
As a part of Binous Classic championship, the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation will be hosting the First Arab Arm Wrestling Championship.
The competition will feature 10 weight categories for both men and youth, with 150 athletes from 12 countries participating.
