The Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation will organize the Amateur and Professional Arm Wrestling Championships, which will be held at the Dibba Fitness Center in Fujairah on Saturday.
The Dibba Arm Wrestling Challenge will feature the participation of 100 players and will commence at 2pm, including four weight categories: 75 kg, 85 kg, 95 kg, and an open weight category. Prominent participants include athletes from the national teams of the UAE, Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Georgia, and Kazakhstan.
The King of the Table Championship will take place at 7pm, featuring the top ten professional players in the world.
It will be supervised by world champion Don Idrees and will include competitions in the 85 kg and above categories for youth and men.
Faisal Al Ghais Al Zaabi, Member of the Emirates Federation for Bodybuilding and Fitness Board of Directors, expressed his gratitude for the support and sponsorship of Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the federation, and commended the efforts of the tournament organizing committee, headed by Salem Khamis Al-Suraidi, for promoting arm wrestling in the country and among enthusiasts by organizing and hosting such tournaments.
He affirmed that this has contributed to spreading the culture of arm wrestling in a distinguished manner.
Zaabi also praised the organizing committee of the King of Table for their fruitful cooperation in organizing the professional tournament, emphasizing that this will mark the beginning of an exceptional future collaboration.
