Keolis, a global leader in shared mobility solutions, is proud to announce its participation as an exhibitor at the MENA Transport Congress and Exhibition (MTCE), opened on Wednesday in Dubai. The 3-day event attracted a huge number of global companies and stakeholders to discussion the latest trends and opportunities.

The MTCE 2024, organised by the RTA in collaboration with UITP, promises a dynamic platform for discussing the future of sustainable urban mobility. This year’s theme, “Sustainable Mobility and Wellbeing,” perfectly aligns with Keolis’ commitment to shaping a greener future for cities.

Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the MENA Transport Congress and Exhibition (MTCE), has attracted more than 2,000 participants, including government officials and transport professionals, alongside 65 speakers that include public transport experts hailing from 22 countries. The event is complemented by a public transport exhibition featuring the participation of 50 entities from 20 countries.

The exhibition will feature a comprehensive program including keynote speeches, panel discussions, and an exhibition showcasing the latest advancements in sustainable urban mobility solutions.

Keolis representatives will be present throughout the event, eager to engage with fellow attendees, foster collaboration, and drive progress towards a shared vision of sustainable mobility.

Alistair Gordon, CEO, Keolis UK, Middle East & India will take centre stage on February 29th with her session, “Connecting Sustainable Urban Mobility and Quality of Life.” This session will highlight Keolis’ dedication to customer focused transportation and its commitment to improving the lives of citizens through innovative solutions.

The 5th edition of the Congress will address key topics such as artificial intelligence, green transport, resilient infrastructure, and urban planning, with a focus on driving progress towards net-zero emissions by 2050. It will also provide a platform for industry experts, policymakers, and government officials to exchange knowledge, collaborate and explore innovative solutions for the future of transportation.

Alistair further elaborated “Keolis has a wealth of expertise, the Group manages over 300 contracts with public transport authorities (PTAs) globally. Our primary objective is to support PTAs in creating and implementing efficient public transportation systems that promote the shift from private vehicles to public transport and active modes. Given the pressing global concerns surrounding climate change and rising temperatures, our focus is on collaborating with PTAs to develop integrated transport systems, that will provide attractive alternative mobility solutions for communities.
