New platform for deliberating realty sector’s issues in Sharjah

Sharjah is one of the leading destinations in real estate investment.

The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (RERD) has announced the publication of the second issue of “Sharjah Real Estate” Magazine, which aims to highlight real estate affairs in the emirate in particular, and the United Arab Emirates in general, while also presenting the latest technical innovations related to real estate.

The new issue was rich with various sections, and diverse news, covering many activities, events, and topics related to real estate.

It also contained many interviews and press reports which focus on displaying the best real estate practices that help achieving sustainable development, which in turn contribute to achieving the department’s aims in building a modern real estate community with a clear vision for the future, in line with the ongoing efforts of Sharjah Government to support and develop the real estate in the emirate.

In its opening, Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director General of the Department, wrote a forward-article entitled “Promising visions and bright future,” in which he stressed that “the magazine is a distinguished platform for discussing and reviewing the most prominent issues and developments of the real estate in Sharjah and the UAE”.

Ahmed Al-Shamsi also expressed his appreciations to everyone who worked hard to produce this issue, and stressed that the department will continue its efforts to provide high-quality content and added value in the upcoming issues.

Moreover, the issue included an interview with Prince Khaled Bin Alwaleed Bin Talal, Vice Chairman of the Board of Arada Company, entitled “Arada...an exceptional vision for real estate development,” in which the Prince Khaled discussed his vision about Arada Company and how it helps achieving environmental and social sustainability and enhancing the quality of life in Sharjah. In addition, the interview reveals the horizon of real estate development and urban transformation in the emirate through the mentality of innovation and excellence that characterises the company and His Royal Highness”.

It also included another highly important interview with Halima Humaid Al-Owais, Vice Chairwoman of Sharjah Consultive Council, and CEO of Sultan Bin Ali Al-Owais Real Estate, under the title “A success story about the strength of Emirati women in the real estate industry”.

This interview presented her story, which started after the death of her father, and as she took on the responsibility of preserving her family’s legacy and achieving her real estate vision with dedication and diligence, while achieving a remarkable success in the country’s real estate.

Furthermore, and within the folds of the magazine, there was a distinguished article by Abdulaziz Rashid Al-Saleh, Director of the Department, titled “Developers’ Aspirations towards Real Estate Investment and Development in Sharjah,” in which he stated: “Sharjah is considered one of the leading destinations in real estate investment and development in the UAE, as it encourages local and international real estate investments and provides a suitable work environment for developers and investors”.
