The world of jewelry and luxury design came alive in Munich as INHORGENTA 2025, Europe’s premier platform for jewelry, watches, and gemstones, dazzled attendees from February 21 to 24.
With over 1,334 brands from 38 countries and a 3% growth in participation compared to last year, the event showcased the latest trends, innovations, and craftsmanship that define the industry. Among the most influential figures at the event was Zhanna Kirkland, whose presence added a layer of prestige and insight to this global gathering.
Highlights included the debut of Tùsaire, a revolutionary 3D-printed platinum jewelry collection inspired by Celtic heritage, and the “Timeless Brilliance” exhibition, which explored the cultural significance of diamonds.
The TrendFactory speaker series further enriched the event by addressing topics such as sustainability, digital transformation, and the evolving preferences of modern consumers.
Zhanna Kirkland was at the forefront of these conversations, engaging with industry leaders and creatives to explore three key themes shaping the future of jewelry: luxury, lab-grown diamonds, and sustainability.
Her interviews revealed a fascinating spectrum of perspectives on what luxury means today. Many emphasized that luxury is deeply personal and far removed from traditional notions of material excess.
“Luxury is personalized—something unique,” one designer shared. Others highlighted how health and well-being have become integral to luxury, with one respondent stating, “Health is the biggest luxury.”
For some, luxury is about innovation and technology, while others described it as “what makes you comfortable” or “time for yourself to think and create something unique.” A recurring sentiment was that luxury is no longer about money but about quality, authenticity, sustainability, and self-expression.
Kirkland also delved into the growing prominence of lab-grown diamonds. While traditional mined diamonds retain their timeless appeal, many exhibitors championed lab-grown alternatives for their ethical production methods and environmental benefits.
As one designer noted, “Lab-grown diamonds are redefining luxury - they’re beautiful, sustainable, and accessible.” These diamonds reflect a shift in consumer values toward conscious choices without compromising on quality or aesthetics.
Sustainability emerged as a defining theme throughout INHORGENTA 2025. Exhibitors showcased eco-friendly practices such as using recycled materials and adopting circular design principles. Kirkland’s conversations underscored that sustainability is no longer optional but essential for brands seeking to remain relevant in today’s market. “Sustainability isn’t just a trend—it’s a responsibility,” one exhibitor remarked.
Beyond its glittering showcases and thought-provoking discussions, INHORGENTA 2025 was also a celebration of excellence. The prestigious INHORGENTA AWARD gala recognized outstanding achievements across nine categories in a glamorous ceremony at Munich’s Kleine Olympiahalle. The event reinforced its reputation as not just a trade fair but also a cultural platform that inspires innovation and collaboration.
Zhanna Kirkland's presence at INHORGENTA brought valuable attention to these transformative trends in the jewelry industry. Her thoughtful exploration of luxury, lab-grown diamonds, and sustainability offered unique insights into how the sector is evolving to meet modern demands while honoring its rich heritage.
As INHORGENTA concluded another successful edition, it made a lasting impression on attendees with its vision for a more innovative, sustainable, and personalized future in jewelry design, one that Kirkland captured with unparalleled clarity and elegance.
